Dear Community,

Autumn welcomes us and the days are getting noticeably shorter. But that doesn't mean there's less going on in the community...

We welcomed 2 new members into the community in September

We welcome as a new special member from an educational and scientific point of view: the University of Worms. In addition to many exciting bachelor's and master's degree programs, Worms University offers the Aviation Management degree program to introduce young talents to the fascinating world of aviation and air freight. As a community, we look forward to further theoretical input and new perspectives. Welcome to the industry page, Worms University!

Secondly, we must ATS-FRA GmbH which offers comprehensive air freight and logistics solutions to meet the diverse requirements of global companies. From AOG services to dangerous goods transport to customs clearance, they ensure smooth international trade processes. With ATS-FRA GmbH, we are gaining a member that will bring new perspectives to the efficiency of the entire supply chain at Frankfurt Airport. Welcome to the community!

A look back at the Air Cargo Conference 2024

Our 9th Air Cargo Conference brought together around 300 experts from aviation, logistics, science and research in Frankfurt on 4 and 5 September. This year, the event again offered a impressive program: Top-class speakers and an international audience ensured intensive discussions on the topics E-commerce, sustainability and the challenges posed by external influences on air freight and logistics.

The lectures and panel discussions offered deep insights into the future of the industry, while participants took every opportunity to participate in the numerous networking events to make new contacts and deepen existing connections. There was a special highlight for our Early Birds this year: the Sunrise Apron Tour at Frankfurt Airport with exclusive insights into the apron processes in beautiful morning sunlight.

Patrik Tschirch, Managing Director of LUG aircargo handling GmbH and Chairman of the Board of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt, was visibly satisfied and enthusiastic about the event: "We have once again managed to put together an all-round successful program. The topics were not only current and relevant, but the networking opportunities were also excellent and were used intensively by all participants. The exchange with the start-ups represented here provides valuable impulses for the digitalization of our industry. I am a big fan of this conference format."

The success of the conference would not have been possible without the support of the Sponsors would not have been possible, which also contributed significantly to the success of this year. Thank you for that! After the conference comes the anniversary and we are already starting to plan the 10th ACC in FrankfurtEven though we are already looking forward to next year, we would like to continue with our aftermovie review this year's conference. Enjoy watching and sharing:
