We are a leading Pharma Logistics Company near Frankfurt Airport, providing customized cold chain logistics, warehousing, and customs clearance for the pharmaceutical industry. We&#039;re seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. You will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers and partners. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction by providing prompt and effective assistance with their inquiries, orders, and concerns.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Key Responsibilities &amp; Duties<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to relevant regulatory standards in pharmalogistics and customs procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Operational handling of pharmaceutical-sensitive air freight shipments (import &amp; export)\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Customs clearance of temperature-controlled, time-critical and regulated pharmaceutical goods<\/li>\n<li>Preparation, review and processing of import and export customs declarations (ATLAS)<\/li>\n<li>Execution and monitoring of T1 transit procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Order intake via all common communication channels<\/li>\n<li>Organize your shipments \u2013 from preparation in the warehouse and customs warehouses under GDP aspects, to booking the dispatch and ensuring smooth routing with international partners<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring GDP-compliant process handling throughout the entire supply chain<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring temperature requirements, transit times and handling instructions<\/li>\n<li>Review and management of shipment-related documents (eg commercial invoice, packing list, AWB, temperature logs, releases\/approvals)<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to enhancing the customer experience.<\/li>\n<li>Close with custom coordination authorities, airlines, handling agents, warehouse operators and customers<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring customs status, releases and critical deviations<\/li>\n<li>Escalation management and handling of temperature excursions, delays and customs holds<\/li>\n<li>Ensure up-to-date documentation in compliance with GDP, SOP and audit requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Professional Requirements (Must-have)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or comparable qualification<\/li>\n<li>Several years of professional experience in air freight handling of pharmaceutical or healthcare shipments<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in customs operations, especially:\n<ul>\n<li>Import and export customs clearance<\/li>\n<li>T1 transit procedures<\/li>\n<li>Temporary storage (bonded warehouse)<\/li>\n<li>Customs warehousing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Very good knowledge of customs and foreign trade law<\/li>\n<li>Confident handling of ATLAS<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of GDP guidelines (EU GDP Guidelines)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in handling temperature-sensitive shipments (2\u20138 \u00b0C, 15\u201325 \u00b0C, frozen)<\/li>\n<li>Clean background record for employment in the air cargo security sector (background\/security clearance \u2013 ZV\u00dc\/Z\u00dcP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Professional Requirements (Nice to have) <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with GxP-regulated products (pharmaceuticals, biotech, cell &amp; gene therapy)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of temperature-controlled packaging systems (passive \/ active)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in handling temperature data loggers<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of AEO, TAPA or GDP audit processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SAP GTS, CargoSoft, Dakosy or comparable systems<\/li>\n<li>Training or certifications in GDP \/ pharmaceutical logistics<\/li>\n<li>Experience in handling dangerous goods (DG)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Personal Competencies<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to help and satisfy customers<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English &amp; German (both written and verbal) with exceptional communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Committed team player with a hands-on mentality and ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Advanced MS Office skills<\/li>\n<li>Very high awareness of quality and compliance with a strong attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Fast and confident decision-making in case of deviations and escalations with the ability to work under pressure in time-critical situations<\/li>\n<li>Experience in logistics and customs, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, is highly advantageous<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What we offer:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenging tasks and projects combined with a high degree of personal responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Permanent employment contract and long-term development prospects<\/li>\n<li>Creative freedom, flat hierarchies, and fast decision-making processes<\/li>\n<li>Attractive fixed salary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Join our team in Frankfurt and be part of something impactful!
