Your tasks:

As an Air Freight & Logistics Specialist (m/f/d), you will work with us on the development of Europe's largest air freight hub at Frankfurt Airport. This includes, in particular, the following tasks:

  • Identification and management of strategic site development measures within the framework of the association's work (e.g. process optimizations, infrastructure measures, etc.)
  • Management of cross-company process, standardization and transformation projects in air freight at Frankfurt Airport
  • Preparation, management and moderation of project groups and workshops with participating representatives of various member companies and external stakeholders
  • Preparation, coordination, processing and publication of association reports, statistics and analyses
  • Maintaining and expanding the network of member companies, partners and institutions
  • Participation in public relations work, e.g., at community events and the creation of specialist articles and sophisticated presentations.

 

This is what you have in your luggage

  • Completed vocational training in the field of freight forwarding & logistics or completed university studies with a focus on logistics, transport economics, business administration or a comparable field of study
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in freight forwarding & logistics, preferably in air freight.
  • Excellent understanding of logistics processes and the requirements of the air freight industry
  • Experience in project management or project leadership
  • Confident handling of statistical analyses and relevant specialist literature in German & English
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking
  • Independent work style, strong communication skills and confident demeanor, even when dealing with C-level management.
  • Strong teamwork skills – initiative and enjoyment in contributing and implementing own ideas
  • Customer orientation as well as creativity and a healthy dose of pragmatism
  • Fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially when creating sophisticated presentations for external partners
  • Class B driving license
