To strengthen our team, we are immediately seeking a full-time, permanent Air Freight Specialist. Responsibilities: Professional packaging of air freight shipments in compliance with applicable security and customs regulations. Handling and preparation of dangerous goods shipments in accordance with IATA-DGR regulations. Creation and verification of required accompanying and shipping documents. Inspection of packaging materials for suitability and safety. Adherence to quality and safety standards as well as internal work instructions. Collaboration with freight forwarders, airlines, and internal departments. Proper storage and labeling of packaged goods. Profile: Completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, or a comparable qualification. Verifiable DGR training (IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations), valid certification desirable. Experience in packaging and handling air freight is an advantage. Knowledge of current customs and security regulations. Meticulous, responsible, and reliable work ethic. Physical resilience and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Team spirit and good German and English skills. Do you currently lack DGR training?
