We are looking for an experienced dispatcher to start immediately on a permanent basis.

Your tasks:

Planning and scheduling of vehicles and drivers for local and long-distance transport, taking into account capacities, routes and legal requirements.

Receiving transport orders, checking their feasibility, and preparing transport documents.

Continuous monitoring of ongoing transports, ensuring punctual collection and delivery, and, if necessary, adjusting the plan in case of disruptions or unforeseen events.

Close cooperation with drivers, warehouse staff, customers and other relevant parties to ensure a smooth transport process.

Preparation of trip reports, delivery notes and other relevant documents, as well as maintenance of relevant data in the company's systems.

Assisting in ensuring compliance with quality standards and, if necessary, handling complaints.

Ensuring optimal economic utilization of all allocated vehicles

Required qualifications:

Completed vocational training in the logistics sector (e.g., freight forwarding agent, warehouse logistics specialist) or a comparable qualification.

Professional experience in dispatching, ideally in the area of local and long-distance transport

Good knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations in the transport sector (e.g. driving and rest times, dangerous goods regulations)

Proficient use of common IT systems and ideally experience with scheduling software.

Communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness, as well as conceptual thinking and working methods, organizational talent

Customer and process-oriented action

Independent, responsible and structured work style

High level of commitment and flexibility

Resilience when working under time pressure / stress resistance

High social skills and accustomed to dealing with diverse ethnic groups.

Good geographical knowledge of the area of operation

Good written and spoken German and English skills

Willingness to work shifts and weekends
