As part of our further professionalization and growth, we are filling a Key position at management level: Head of HR / People & Culture.

We are not looking for HR Administration.

We are looking for a personality who understands people, structures and culture as well as Shows attitude. It not only organizes, but designs and creates clarity. It doesn't ask what needs to be done, but recognizes why it needs to be done – and how best to empower people to perform – quietly, but effectively.

No team, no trophy.

This role is aimed at experienced HR leaders who understand HR as a strategic management function and effectively combine culture, organization and performance.

For our headquarters at Frankfurt Airport, we are looking for a full-time employee for a permanent position. Head of HR.

Your mission as Head of HR:

This role is not aimed at traditional HR profiles. Rather, it's aimed at leaders who understand:

  • They design and manage the entire HR strategy of the CHI Group – from recruiting to organizational development. They define and are responsible for the People & Culture Agenda of a growing, international company.
  • You lead, challenge, and develop your HR team – with clear direction, fair dealings, and high standards. You enable structures, growth, quality, and agility.
  • They are Sparring partner of the management and not a mere implementer. As a voice with substance, shaped by your competence, you provide impetus, take a stand, and prepare groundbreaking decisions.
  • They professionalize and digitize HR processes pragmatically – not for the sake of the tools themselves, but for impact, so that efficiency, transparency, and future viability emerge. They build structures that Enabling performance, instead of slowing them down.
  • They actively shape a corporate culture in which Responsibility, trust and results orientation belong together.
  • They think in terms of solutions and connections: whether personnel planning, labor law, employee retention or changes – they keep track of everything.
  • They design programs for employee retention, leadership, talent and succession planning that are sustainable and truly effective.
  • They handle employment law issues confidently and in a solution-oriented manner.
  • They shape the corporate culture, create clarity, strengthen communication and ensure a modern employee experience.
  • And above all: They act proactively, thoughtfully, and with sensitivity.
  • They address issues before they escalate – and make decisions while others are still weighing the options.

What you bring

  • One experienced HR leader with genuine leadership maturity
  • A completed degree or comparable qualification – however, your personality and professional standards are more important to us.
  • Several years of relevant experience in a senior HR role – ideally in a medium-sized company, operational environment in logistics, industry or another dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (fluent in negotiations)
  • Sovereignty, empathy, decisiveness and discretion. A deep understanding of modern HR work, labor law, HR systems and digitalization. Confident in labor law, proficient in HR systems, clear in communication.
  • Analytical, empathetic, decisive
  • Leadership skills, pragmatism, and a passion for driving things forward.
  • A very good and subtle sense for people, situations, dynamics and nuances.
  • And especially: attitude
