It offers a full range of air freight handling products from its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and its locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. As part of our succession plan, we are seeking a Head of Air Freight and Packaging to gradually assume the technical and organizational management of the Packaging department.

Your tasks:

Focus on dangerous goods packaging / wooden packaging

Responsibility for planning and coordination of internal departmental processes and their smooth implementation

Taking over commercial and business management tasks

Training and professional instruction of new employees

Personnel management and ensuring optimal personnel planning

Communication with customers, manufacturers and suppliers

Inventory management including inventory and order processing Support in quality assurance and product development

Your profile:

Successfully completed training or many years of professional experience

Dangerous goods training categories A, B and F required

Manual skills, logical thinking and organizational skills

leadership experience

Communication skills, team player and assertiveness

Customer and process-oriented action

High degree of independence, self-responsible working style and resilience when working under time pressure

Willingness to work 2-shifts and weekends

Good written and spoken German skills and basic knowledge of English

Confident handling of PC-based IT applications

Car driving license
