As a family-owned company, the CHI Group is a leading provider of logistics services in the air freight sector and offers the entire product portfolio for air freight handling at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and at locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Hamburg and Amsterdam.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an air freight specialist to start immediately, on a full-time and permanent basis.
Tasks:
Professional packaging of air freight shipments in compliance with applicable safety and customs regulations.
Handling and preparation of dangerous goods shipments in accordance with IATA-DGR regulations
Preparation and verification of the required accompanying and shipping documents
Testing of packaging materials for suitability and safety
Compliance with quality and safety standards as well as internal work instructions
Cooperation with freight forwarders, airlines and internal departments
Proper storage and labeling of packaged goods

Profile:
Completed training in logistics, freight forwarding or a comparable qualification
Verifiable DGR (IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations) training; valid certification desirable.
Experience in packaging and handling air freight is an advantage.
Knowledge of current customs and security regulations
Careful, responsible and reliable work ethic
Physical resilience and willingness to work shifts / weekends and public holidays
Teamwork skills and good German and English skills
