Yes, we're a little late this time\u2014the conference has kept us pretty busy. But the wait is worth it: In this issue, we've compiled exciting impressions, news, and highlights for you.<\/p>\n

We welcome our new members<\/h3>\n

Our community continues to grow \u2013 we are very happy Cubelog<\/a> as a new member of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV!
\nCubelog is a freight forwarding company with a clear focus on air freight. It also offers customized sea and road transport solutions tailored precisely to customer requirements. Its vision: modern, digital, and efficient logistics solutions that focus on individual needs.
\nBy joining our community, Cubelog is strengthening its network at Europe's largest freight hub. Together, we aim to further drive innovation, efficiency, and collaboration within the industry.<\/p>\n

We are called TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS)<\/a> Welcome to the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV! The company is one of the largest and fastest-growing providers of integrated supply chain solutions in India, is part of the TVS Mobility Group, and operates in over 25 countries worldwide. Driven by the values of Trust, Value, and Service, TVS SCS, with approximately 17,000 employees, manages complex supply chains for international organizations, government agencies, and medium-sized and large companies \u2013 supported by customized, technology-enabled solutions.<\/p>\n

Update from the Hub Performance competence team: Workshop on standardizing LAT processes<\/h3>\n

The Hub Performance competence team of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt recently met in a particularly large group \u2013 including all Cargo Handling Agents (CHAs) of the community at the location.
\n\"\"
\nAfter working intensively over the past few months on documenting the general import and export processes, the team is now taking a closer look at the first sub-process. They began by standardizing the local delivery and transport processes and recording\/interpreting the Latest Acceptance Time (LAT).<\/p>\n

Before the summer, the task force compiled all process variants from the various companies and clearly visualized them. These variants were presented at the workshop on August 20th, validated by the respective CHAs, and discussed together. All participants now have a comprehensive overview of the registration and LAT processes of the CHAs at Frankfurt Airport. An interim goal has thus been achieved.<\/p>\n

The workshop also marked the start of further standardization work. The goal: to simplify the LAT processes through standards as extensive as possible, thus reducing complexity. This will benefit not only established truckers, CHAs, and freight forwarders in their day-to-day business, but also new companies or haulage companies that can establish themselves at the location as quickly as possible. Overall, this will further increase the hub's performance.<\/p>\n

The first Topic Night focused on "Cross-Border eCommerce." The format for knowledge exchange was well received.<\/h3>\n

On August 12, 2025, the YACE team celebrated a successful premiere: the first Topic Night on e-commerce. As host, \u00c7elebi provided the perfect setting for an inspiring evening of knowledge exchange. Three speakers illuminated the diverse facets, opportunities, and challenges of cross-border e-commerce in front of an interested audience.
\n\"\"
\nIn entertaining speed talks, Michael Oliver M\u00e4rtl-Scheer (ECOM Solution GmbH) provided fascinating insights into the topic of cross-border security. Uwe Glunz from Customs Broker later expanded on this topic, focusing on the challenges and opportunities inherent in international trade. The program was rounded out by Heike W\u00f6rner from Lufthansa Cargo, who provided an overview of developments in recent years and addressed future developments and potential in air freight.

\nFollowing the presentations, a lively discussion developed between the speakers and participants. This demonstrated how closely regulatory requirements, technological innovations, and strategic decisions are intertwined. This provided an opportunity to raise questions, share experiences, and gain new insights. Networking was also plentiful: In an open and relaxed atmosphere, contacts were made and ideas were further developed. The first Topic Night thus set a strong tone \u2013 and kicked off a series of events that will whet your appetite for more.<\/p>\n

Topic Nights are an initiative of the Young Air Cargo Executive (YACE) team. They take place approximately every six weeks. The concept is for sessions lasting a maximum of two hours after work. All ACCF members (including those not from YACE) can register for free. Up to three speakers from the community share their experiences on pre-determined key topics in approximately 15-minute presentations. The goal is to facilitate an informal exchange of knowledge within the community.
\nThe next Topic Night will focus on a successful career in air freight. We'll announce the date and location as soon as possible via the event on the ACCF website. Be quick, as places are limited.<\/p>\n

The Heart of Air Cargo in the Heart of Europe \u2013 Our anniversary conference delights audiences in Frankfurt!<\/h3>\n

What a celebration \u2013 our 10th Air Cargo Conference is behind us, and we're still brimming with energy! On September 3 and 4, 2025, we made history together with over 400 participants at the Adler Business Club in Deutsche Bank Park. For two days, Frankfurt was the center of the international air cargo world \u2013 with exciting discussions, inspiring ideas, and many special encounters.

\nTogether into a new era<\/strong>
\nAt the opening, Susanne Klingler-Werner (UPS Supply Chain Solutions Europe & ACCF Board Member) made it clear: "We are on the threshold of a new era in air freight. Digitalization and artificial intelligence are no longer just buzzwords, but reality. This conference demonstrates how we can shape the future together \u2013 and that cooperation is the key to achieving this."

\nTransformation \u2013 technological and human<\/strong>
\nOne focus was how artificial intelligence is already transforming processes today and what opportunities it offers for transparency, efficiency, and resilience. At the same time, it became clear that the future is not just about technology, but also about people. In-depth discussions focused on the shortage of skilled workers and demographic change \u2013 addressing the question of how we can attract, develop, and retain talent for our industry in the long term.

\nConnections that count<\/strong>
\nOur panels also provided special highlights:
\n\u2022 \u201cSeafreight meets Airfreight\u201d highlighted how closely the modes of transport must work together to make global supply chains flexible and resilient.
\n\u2022 At the European Cargo Hubs panel, representatives from leading airports \u2013 from Amsterdam to London \u2013 exchanged views on strategies and challenges.

\nAnd: For the first time, the conference offered an exhibition area where 17 companies presented their ideas \u2013 from digital services and innovative business models to sustainable logistics concepts.

\nHighlights & Emotions<\/strong>
\nOf course, the celebration couldn't be missed: The festive anniversary dinner was an absolute highlight. In the special atmosphere of the Business Club, we toasted a decade of conference history\u2014and everything we still want to achieve together.

\nAnother highlight: the presentation of the Innovation Awards 2025. Eight startups presented their ideas on the Innovation Stage, and in the end, aluco GmbH prevailed with its STRIX profile system.
\n\"\"
\nFrankfurt looks ahead<\/strong>
\nThe second day began with a clear vision of the future: Alexander Laukenmann (Fraport AG) presented the CargoHub master plan, with which Frankfurt intends to further expand its role as Europe's leading cargo hub.

\nThe final topic was e-commerce: Representatives from Europe and Asia discussed different approaches and demonstrated the opportunities (and challenges) that growing flows of goods bring for global supply chains.
\n\"\"
\nOur shared success<\/strong>
\nIn the end, our CEO, Patrik Tschirch, summed it up perfectly: "What began as a regional exchange has evolved over the past ten years into an internationally recognized platform. The 10th Air Cargo Conference marks an important milestone\u2014and we all made it what it is."
\nWe are proud of what we have achieved together. This conference was more than just an industry gathering\u2014it was a statement of cooperation, innovation, and the strength of our community.
