Below we would like to introduce you to the two organizations. Aviation without Borders \/ Wings of Help e.V.<\/strong> and Cargo Human Care e.V. <\/strong>They will introduce themselves in more detail. They will provide an insight into their projects, their mission, and the challenges they face daily in order to provide fast and efficient help to people in need.<\/p>\n

Aviation without Borders \/ Wings of Help e.V.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Based in Cargo City South at Frankfurt Airport, Aviation Without Borders spreads its wings worldwide to help people in need. In addition to numerous large aid projects around the globe \u2013 including in Ukraine (war), Turkey, Haiti and Pakistan (earthquakes), Myanmar\/Indonesia\/Japan (tsunami), Syria\/Iraq\/Greece (refugee aid) and Mozambique (cyclone disasters) as well as during flood disasters (e.g., the Ahr Valley) \u2013 Aviation Without Borders\/Wings of Help e.V. (LOG\/WoH) is building computer schools for young people in difficult locations such as struggling schools, migrant shelters or refugee camps.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2003, the organization, which has Fraport AG as one of its key supporters, collaborates with airlines, logistics companies, and numerous renowned German and globally active businesses. It budgets for traditional freight forwarding services by air, land, or sea, as well as for short-term storage capacity in Cargo City South. LOG\/WoH recently shipped power generators and medicine to Iraq via Frankfurt Airport, particularly to the impoverished region in the north of the country.<\/p>\n

LOG\/WoH regularly reviews its current needs and its logistics partners and welcomes offers of cooperation in the humanitarian field. In the 22 years since its founding, the organization has delivered over 10,000 tons of aid supplies quickly and efficiently to people in need on every continent.<\/p>\n

Cargo Human Care \u2013 Aid that arrives<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Cargo Human Care e.V. (CHC) is a humanitarian organization that has been active in Kenya for many years. Its goal: sustainable aid for children, young people and families in need \u2013 with heart, mind and concrete projects.<\/p>\n

A central pillar of the work is the medical care<\/strong> At the CHC Medical Centre in Nairobi, German doctors and local staff treat people who would otherwise be unable to afford medical care. Services range from general medicine and gynecology to dentistry.<\/p>\n

In the area Education<\/strong> CHC operates three schools: the Happy Child Education Centre<\/em>,<\/em> The Wings Academy and the Elazar Girls' High School. Around 600 children receive not only education here, but also daily meals and social support. Two homes \u2013 the Mothers' Mercy Home<\/em> and the John Kaheni Residence<\/em> \u2013 offer protection and prospects for orphans and at-risk youth.<\/p>\n

Currently, CHC is focusing on two particular areas:<\/p>\n

  1. Vocational Training Center (VTC):<\/strong>At the new vocational training center, young adults receive practical training in fields such as tailoring, hairdressing, IT, and electrical engineering. The goal is to enable them to have an independent future \u2013 with a profession that provides them with a livelihood.<\/li>\n
  2. Sponsorship program:<\/strong>Sponsors are being sought for 32 students in Marsabit to cover their secondary education for three years. A monthly sponsorship of \u20ac50 will cover school fees, uniforms, and accommodation. These sponsorships directly contribute to equal opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    CHC stands for effective help \u2013 personal, transparent and sustainable. Every contribution counts.<\/p>\n
