LUG aircargo handling GmbH is part of the Dettmer Group, a family-run, medium-sized logistics company. We provide freight handling services at the Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich airports. On behalf of leading airlines, we handle air freight for both import and export, offering an attractive range of high-quality services. At our largest location at Frankfurt Airport, we currently have the following interesting positions available:

Documentation Officer (m/f/d)

Here's what you can expect from us:

• Processing and handling of export and import documentation, including electronic data entry in the freight handling system
• Ensuring and complying with airline-specific requirements and legal regulations
• Communication and correspondence with airlines, customers and internal interfaces
• Compliance with all customs and dangerous goods regulations
• Supporting operational processes in flight handling
• Billing of special services
• Taking on further appropriate duties / special tasks as instructed by superiors

You should bring the following:

• Completed commercial vocational training, ideally as an air transport clerk or similar
• Knowledge of documentary air freight handling as well as the Hermes handling system and airline-specific programs is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in dealing with customers and a service-oriented approach • Ability to prioritize tasks and a careful and systematic work style
• User knowledge in the use of modern office communication tools and IT systems
• Suitability for shift work (early, late and night shifts)
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Teamwork skills, reliability, flexibility and initiative
• Resilience and sense of responsibility
