It offers a full-time, permanent position with a full-time, all-round air freight handling product portfolio at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and at locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We have extensive warehouse and office space at our locations and are seeking a full-time, permanent occupational safety specialist to join our QSHE team at Frankfurt Airport.

Your tasks:
Conducting inspections and assessments of workplaces, work equipment and materials across all sites in Germany
Cross-site implementation of occupational health and safety committee meetings and participation in meetings of the respective German branch in order to achieve the occupational health and safety objectives
Support and management of the safety officers
Analysis of the branch's accident history and introduction of appropriate preventive measures to reduce occupational accidents
Preparation of reports on accidents at the branches
Preparation of risk assessments and operating instructions
Supervision, preparation, support and, if necessary, implementation of safety training and instructions
Correspondence with authorities and professional associations 
 
Your profile:
You have completed training as an occupational safety specialist and understand occupational safety as a task for everyone
You ideally have professional experience in warehousing and logistics; ideally you also have the qualifications to train FFZ
You already have additional training as a fire safety and hazardous materials officer, or are willing to acquire this additional qualification with us
You have very good analytical skills
You have a structured, results- and goal-oriented way of working with a high degree of assertiveness, initiative and commitment, as well as the ability to work in a team, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
You are able to communicate occupational safety topics appropriately and in a confident and authoritative manner
You hold a class B driving licence
You enjoy personnel management and ideally have initial experience in a management position
You have good MS Office skills and good written and spoken German and English skills
