As a Community Manager (m/f/d) you will work with us on the development of Europe's largest air freight hub at Frankfurt Airport.
This includes, in particular, the following tasks:
- Preparation, management and moderation of working groups and workshops with participating representatives of various member companies, especially press and marketing departments.
- Conceptualization, planning and implementation of events for the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt in a team and in cooperation with external partners and clients.
- Event management with regard to budget, time and quality requirements
- Identification and acquisition of potential event partners, sponsors and speakers for the respective events
- Conception and implementation of a marketing and sales strategy for the relevant events, including the creation of corresponding documents (e.g., pitch decks, posters, social media posts, event website)
- Management of our junior team YACE (Young Air Cargo Executives) and preparation and coordination of joint initiatives
- Creation of sophisticated presentations, communication and marketing materials, and contacts with the press.
- Participation in strategic site development measures and cross-company process, standardization and transformation projects in air freight at Frankfurt Airport
This is what you have in your luggage
- Completed vocational training in the field of freight forwarding/logistics/air transport or completed studies in the field of economics, air transport or a comparable field or completed studies in the field of event management in conjunction with practical experience in air freight / logistics
- Willingness to take responsibility for events, workshops, projects, etc.
- Excellent moderation and presentation skills as well as strong persuasive abilities, even with C-level management.
- Consistent advancement of measures in cooperative development with member companies
- Organizational skills, independent work style, strong communication skills and confident demeanor, tact in critical issues and situations
- Self-initiative and enjoyment in contributing and implementing one's own ideas
- Customer orientation as well as creativity and a healthy dose of pragmatism
- Strong teamwork skills
- Fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially when creating sophisticated presentations for external partners
- Experience in using layout, graphic and text design software (e.g. Adobe InDesign, Canva) is an advantage.
- Class B driving license
