Warehouse Director (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Overall responsibility for several warehouse and special handling areas
• Management and development of several team and department heads
• Development and implementation of a sustainable warehouse strategy
• Control and continuous optimization of processes according to Lean Management principles
• Ensuring the highest quality, safety and compliance standards
• Analysis of operational key performance indicators and derivation of suitable improvement measures
• Responsibility for SLA fulfillment, costs, quality and productivity
• Close collaboration with internal departments and international stakeholders within a matrix organization
• Management of cross-departmental projects and change initiatives

Requirements

• Completed studies in logistics, business administration or a comparable field
• Several years of management experience in the areas of warehousing, logistics, air freight or supply chain
• Experience in leading larger organizational units across multiple management levels
• Demonstrable success in Lean Management, process optimization and change management
• Excellent knowledge of modern warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP)
• Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills
• Fluent German skills and fluent English skills
