Job description:
Your task:
- You create Consol Air Waybills (MAWBs) in our forwarding program
- You communicate internationally with our branches, service providers and airlines
- You will independently take care of the planning of aircraft pallets (ULDs)
- You check the customs documents of the incoming export shipments for accuracy and completeness
- You check and, if necessary, assign the security status of all incoming export shipments
- You commission our service providers to transport by truck to other airports
- You keep an eye on our customers' shipments and appointments
- You create shipping accompanying documents (VBD – T1, T2, etc.) for onward transport to other airports
- You maintain the relevant data in our forwarding program
- You process incoming invoices from our service providers
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training, ideally as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in air freight
- Experience in ULD planning is an advantage
- You attach great importance to providing your customers with first-class service
- You also keep UPS's economic goals in mind
- Willingness to broaden your horizons and learn
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays/public holidays)
- Independent, structured and careful way of working
- Flexibility and resilience, commitment and reliability
- Good MS Office user knowledge
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Preferably a valid background check according to Section 7 of the Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG), aviation security training 11.2.3.9 according to Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 or the willingness to agree to such a check (Section 7 of the Aviation Security Act)
