Dear Community,
Sometimes good things come a little late – like this newsletter issue! Due to our exciting and intensive time at transport logistic, it's published later than usual this time, but it will once again bring with it many interesting insights and news from the air cargo community.
transport logistics 2025:
Our community in the thick of things
As Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV we are looking forward to a great time at this year’s transport logistics Back. With a new record number of 77,000 trade fair visitors, we met primarily our members – whether at their stands or randomly in the aisles – and in doing so, we felt like we walked through every hall of the trade fair. This shows once again: Our community is represented everywhere – and has grown significantly in recent years.

In addition, we had inspiring discussions with other associations, cargo communities, and numerous interested visitors who wanted to learn more about our work at Frankfurt Airport and in the community. Discussions took place, ideas were exchanged, new contacts were made – and, of course, a real Frankfurt-style community burger meet-up with original green sauce is a must.

The lunch with local cuisine was a central contact point for our membersto find each other as a community in Munich and to use the opportunity for exchange. A special highlight in this context was the Raffle of two free tickets for the 10th anniversary of the Air Cargo Conference on September 3rd and 4th at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt.
Now we're back in FRA—full of motivation for the upcoming projects, topics, and events. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this week so lively.

Visit to the Rhein-Main job fair at HOLM
On 13 May, the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt successfully participated in the Rhein-Main job fair in the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) in Frankfurt. The trade fair is considered a central platform for companies from the region to connect with young professionals, students, and potential career changers.
With a joint exhibition stand The Air Cargo Community presented itself as an attractive employer association around Frankfurt Airport. The focus was on exciting career opportunities in air cargo – from commercial and logistics apprenticeships to dual study programs and career entry opportunities. Numerous interested visitors took advantage of the opportunity to learn about the working world in air cargo in personal discussions and to interact directly with industry representatives.
The fair was complemented by short, practical lectures, where employers and institutions provided information about career paths, training, and entry-level opportunities. Whether air freight, nursing, or professional drivers – visitors received valuable first-hand insights and were able to try out the truck driving simulator, for example. The Air Cargo Community also participated with its own presentations and presented exciting career profiles and development prospects within the air freight industry.

Of particular interest was the ACCF job portal, which we prominently featured: It offers a central overview of current job openings and apprenticeships related to air freight at our Frankfurt location. Many visitors took the opportunity to get an initial overview directly at the booth.
The trade fair presentation provided valuable input for recruiting employees and underscored the relevance of air freight as a job engine for the region. The Air Cargo Community Frankfurt thanks the organizers and all participants for the successful trade fair and looks forward to the next joint presentation – perhaps at the Career Day in Frankfurt!?
