Cargo Service Alert: Information distribution list for site-wide operational challenges – join now.
Due to current events, we would like to draw your attention once again to the Operational Disruption Information service, the so-called „FRA Cargo Service Alert“ Raise awareness. The FRA Cargo Service Alert is an automated and standardized communication platform for participating community members. It enables quick and easy notification of all partners and members in the event of operational disruptions that have an impact on the location beyond the individual company, thereby strengthening location resilience and ensuring mutual support in crisis situations.
The reporting system was developed and tested last year by the "Hub Performance" competence team of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV. The aim was to create a straightforward way for companies within the Air Cargo Community to exchange relevant information about current or foreseeable disruptions in operations.
The focus is particularly on events that have serious effects on upstream or downstream processes – such as technical problems, staff shortages, capacity bottlenecks, communication disruptions, logistical challenges, unforeseen events, weather conditions or official measures.
The early dissemination of this information will enable the air cargo community to react quickly and in a coordinated manner, jointly mitigate operational problems, and further strengthen the resilience of the location. The system's technical implementation builds on existing information structures, ensuring ease of use and guaranteeing 24/7 information exchange.
Key features of the FRA Cargo Service Alert at a glance:
- A report will only be made by the directly affected company.
- For this purpose, a provided Outlook template is used, which is supplemented by the sending company and then sent to a defined email address.
- The sending company is solely responsible for the content of the message.
- The message will be automatically forwarded 24/7 to all companies on the distribution list of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt. Only member companies of the association are eligible to participate.
- The evaluation and further processing of the information is the responsibility of each individual recipient.
- This exchange is solely for internal purposes at the Frankfurt location. External forwarding of the information is neither intended nor desired.

News from the HubPerformance competence team
Our HubPerformance team launched a project in March important step forward We have done this: Together we have established the framework for an upcoming Pilot test of a simplified LAT (Latest Acceptance Time) in export defined.
Especially strong: In this project, GHAs, freight forwarders, truck drivers and Fraport are working closely together – as a a united team with a clear goal.
We want to test a simplified and standardized LAT (Load Acceptance Transfer) process for the community at Frankfurt Airport. The focus is on whether this approach can create additional loading and unloading capacity and make delivery planning noticeably more reliable for freight forwarders, GHAs (Global Warehouse Operators), and truck drivers. The field test is planned for a two-week period in the first half of 2026.
In the next step, the concept will be developed in the entire HubPerformance team on April 20th presented to gather further feedback and make targeted fine adjustments.
Projects and practical tests like this one are an important building block for further strengthening the performance of our site and sustainably improving process quality for all participating companies.

We've moved! Since mid-March you can find us at the CargoCity South at Frankfurt Airport – in building 581, right next to Gate 32.
