Welcome Jenny – our new Community Manager
Hello everyone, 👋🏼
Since April 1st, I've been part of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt as the new Community Manager. I've already had the pleasure of meeting some of you in person – thank you for the warm welcome!
For those I haven't met yet, here's a brief overview of my responsibilities: I will be supporting the People & Culture and Trucking competence teams at ACCF. I will also be responsible for organizing and leading the YACE team, as well as the increasing responsibility for our events.
That's perfect, as I'm a trained event manager and can directly contribute my experience. After completing my studies in online communication and specialized journalism & corporate communications, I'm looking forward to applying my knowledge in marketing, PR, and project management here in the community.
You can reach me either via j.berger@fra-fr8.com or at +4915129162101.
And when I'm not working for the ACCF? Then you'll usually find me with a good book in the sun or outdoors doing some exercise – whether hiking, snowboarding, or doing Pilates.
I'm looking forward to working with you and learning more about air freight 💚

Housewarming at its best!
What a start! On April 16th, we celebrated our housewarming together with our colleagues from allivate! We couldn't have wished for a better day: With perfect weather, delicious pizza, plenty of ice cream, cold drinks and numerous great conversations, around 100 guests joined us throughout the day.
It was great to see many familiar faces again in our new home in CargoCity South, while also getting to know new members of our community and exchanging ideas. A day full of networking, good conversations, and genuine connections – exactly what our community stands for.

The Hub Performance competence team met on April 20th. Over 20 representatives from our member companies took the opportunity to participate in the intensive sounding board meeting.
The highlights at a glance:
- Pilot project LAT (Latest Acceptance Time): The focus was on presenting self-developed initiatives to the team. Thanks to the valuable feedback from the participants, the pilot project will begin its test run in May 2026. A big thank you to our team leaders Janina Meininger and Kristine Heinisch for leading the meeting.
- Robotics strategy at FRA: Luca Weiser and Leander Gottschalk gave an update on the current robotics strategy and its future at our location.
- Partnerships: We looked beyond national borders to the airport partnerships with Bangalore (BLR) and Shanghai Pudong (PVG). Kristine Heinisch outlined concrete opportunities for companies from the region to actively participate in various areas of work within these partnerships.
Many thanks to all participants who are actively shaping the future of our community!

Under the direction of Patrick Hof and Jenny Berger, the participants of our Trucking Competence Team worked on a wide range of projects on April 29th.
What was on the agenda?
- Project updates: We discussed the progress on the guidelines for truck slot booking, explained the current status of Common PreCheck in more detail, and raised awareness of the CargoService alarm system.
- New initiatives: We remain committed to making CargoCity even more accessible and welcoming for truck drivers. This includes continuing our food truck events and introducing a new initiative: the Trucker Facility Map.
- Brainstorming & exchange: In an open discussion, the most pressing challenges – especially the parking situation in CargoCity South – were discussed. We will continue to focus on close communication and cooperation in this area.
Save the Date: The next meeting will take place on August 12, 2026, at the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt premises in CargoCity South, Building 581. We invite all interested members to actively participate, join the discussion, and help shape the future!
