Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV elects new board and successfully concludes financial year 2025.

Frankfurt am Main, June 15, 2026 – The Air Cargo Community eV (ACCF), an independent association of key players in the Frankfurt air freight hub, elected a new board of directors at its annual general meeting.

The board of directors comprises representatives from the association's four member groups. In addition, the two founding members, Lufthansa Cargo AG (LCAG) and Fraport AG, each appoint one board member. LCAG will continue to be represented by Frank Bauer. Fraport AG saw a change on its board following the departure of Dr. Pierre-Dominique Prümm from the company. Fraport will now be represented by Dietmar Focke, who is no stranger to the ACCF board. During his time as an LCAG board member, he was already active on the association's board: "The energy and focus of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt have always impressed me. Therefore, I am very pleased to be involved again and look forward to close cooperation on the board and with our member companies." In the freight forwarders' group, Susanne Klingler-Werner of UPS Supply Chain Solutions GmbH & Co. KG was confirmed in her position. Michael Hoppe of BARIG eV was also re-elected as the airlines' representative. Patrik Tschirch (LUG aircargo handling GmbH) remains on the board for the cargo handlers' group. Christian Riege (Riege Software International GmbH) was re-elected as the representative of other service providers, prevailing against two other candidates. In the subsequent board meeting, Patrik Tschirch was confirmed as chairman and Christian Riege as deputy chairman. The association's board is elected every two years.

A successful financial year creates room for further growth

In addition to the election of the board, the general meeting offered attendees the opportunity to learn about the association's current activities and strategic priorities. Ongoing initiatives and planned events for the coming months were presented. The review of the 2025 fiscal year was particularly positive: Following intensive efforts in recent years, the association has succeeded in sustainably strengthening its financial foundation. This success was largely due to continuous membership growth, successful events, and the implementation of forward-looking projects. The positive financial result opens up new opportunities for the association to pursue new projects and initiatives and ensures its long-term financial stability. Last year, 20 new member companies were also acquired, bringing the total number of members to 116. "As a community, we are pooling these strengths to create a networked cargo expertise at and for Frankfurt Airport. The successful past fiscal year and the continued growth in membership confirm our course and provide momentum for the tasks ahead," says Felix Toepsch, CEO of the ACCF.

Air Cargo Conference 2026 to be held for the first time at the exhibition grounds

The ACCF is looking to the future with confidence and to the 11th Air Cargo Conference, taking place on September 2nd and 3rd, 2026. Following the great success of the tenth anniversary event at Deutsche Bank Park Frankfurt, the conference will debut at Messe Frankfurt this year, thus meeting the increased demand.
