9th Air Cargo Conference in Frankfurt

The Air Cargo Conference took place in Frankfurt for the 9th time last week and brought together almost 300 experts from aviation, science and research. The logistics professionals' hearts beat faster in the great atmosphere of the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM). The event was organized by the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV in close cooperation with the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (FRA UAS), the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML, HAUS61 and Hessen Aviation.

Together, there was intensive discussion on the key topics of e-commerce, sustainability and external influences on the industry - topics that will shape not only the future of the industry, but also society as a whole. In exciting presentations and panel discussions, the experts offered valuable insights into the challenges and perspectives of logistics. The participants took the opportunity to make new connections and deepen existing contacts through numerous networking opportunities.
Particularly impressive is the exchange between established companies and young start-ups that has been promoted since the beginning of the conference. This dynamic mix brings a breath of fresh air to the industry and opens doors for innovative solutions that could shape the logistics of tomorrow.

Patrik Tschirch, Managing Director of LUG aircargo handling GmbH and Chairman of the Board of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt, was visibly satisfied and enthusiastic about the event: "We have once again managed to put together an all-round successful program. The topics were not only current and relevant, but the networking opportunities were also excellent and were used intensively by all participants. The exchange with the start-ups represented here brings valuable impulses for digitization
our industry. I am a big fan of this conference format."

A special highlight this year was the sunrise tour early in the morning on the second day, which gave participants the opportunity to experience Frankfurt Airport in a unique light. The proceeds from ticket sales for this tour will go to a charitable cause - a great example of how expertise and social commitment can go hand in hand.

Special thanks go to the sponsors, who once again contributed significantly to the success of the conference this year. The participants' feedback was consistently positive, and Felix Toepsch, Managing Director of Air Cargo Community Frankfurt eV, summed up: "We have succeeded in reaching an increasingly international audience. We are particularly pleased about the intensive exchange with our guests from the USA, India, Israel, Belgium, France, China and many other countries. We would like to build on this success next year, for the 10th anniversary of the conference."
It will be exciting to see what highlights the innovative Air Cargo Community Frankfurt has in store for the upcoming anniversary. It will certainly be an event that no one should miss.
